Dr Jill Pryor

I was born and bred in Ballarat and lived here until going to university in Melbourne. I graduated in 1990.

After completing my intern and hospital training in Melbourne, I moved to Byron Bay, gaining my fellowship in General Practice in 2000 (several children later)

I have a keen interest in sports medicine, not just for athletes, but also incorporating lifestyle changes to treat patients without medication if possible/ or alongside medication.

Other special interests include women’s health, pregnancy support, assistance with breastfeeding matters, and of course, all matters of menopause.
Other than this I am a general family GP and enjoy seeing the full spectrum of general practice.

When not at work, I am likely to be found in the gym or on the athletics track. I have had a lifelong participation in competing and coaching, and must confess that the Pryor family are staunch Ballarat Swans (AFL) supporters.

I have moved back to Ballarat permanently to be near family and my two “children” at University of Melbourne.
